The Burning House Project

My teacher got the idea for this assignment from The Burning House site.

Here is the jist of the idea straight from the site: “If your house was burning, what would you take with you? It’s a conflict between what’s practical, valuable and sentimental. What you would take reflects your interests, background and priorities. Think of it as an interview condensed into one question.”

I thought about it and I chose to take old photos and old documents that belonged to my grandparents and great grandparents from Cuba.

Aside from photographing what you would take, we had to submit it to the website. A week later and my photo was posted. Really cool!! Here is the link: The Burning House: Giovanna Carrascosa. Make sure to like it and leave a comment. Thanks!!

List:

  • Old Passports that belonged to my Great Grandparents and Grandparents
